Well, it’s been a while!  Glad to say it’s because we’ve been busy.  Here’s the status of our current works-in-progress, for anyone who is wondering:

What Light Remains – is currently on Jayson’s editing desk.  We hear that his girlfriend is helping him.  Estimated date of completion is approximately sometime in the future.

The Cthulhu Chronicles – is also in the can, and on Eric’s editing desk.  He’s getting set up for post audio work and is aiming for completing by winter’s end.

Tin Can – is about 50% complete.  Left to shoot are all of the soundstage scenes.  We are hoping to have those done by the end of November.

Our future plans currently entail the completion of these three projects, followed by instantaneous fame and fortune.  (Or maybe a festival or two).

The Cthulhu Chronicles is getting very close to completing principal photography.  We had a few exciting days and these photos are the first that we have to show you.

Here are some more pictures from Springfield, this time a look at what was going on behind the camera:

For some of our final days of production on The Cthulhu Chronicles, we spent a weekend in Springfield, Vermont.  It was an incredible three days of hard work, long hours, rough conditions and unforgiving weather, but in the end we accomplished something that we think is amazing.  Here are just a few images from that weekend.

Today a few pictures of props and set dress used in The Cthulhu Chronicles.

Today we bring you a collection of photos from our romp in the woods, on days 5 and 6 of production.

Today we bring you some images from day 3 of production on The Cthulhu Chronicles.  This was in downtown Burlington, at an undisclosed location.

|

Principal photography on The Cthulhu Chronicles, CMP’s latest feature film production, is about 80% complete.  We have a few more shooting days in early January before it’s all in the can (or the hard drive, as it were).  It’s been an amazing journey so far – and a busy one, which is why updates have been few and far between.

Over the next few days, we hope to make up for that somewhat by posting some production stills from November.  Lots of secrets are revealed in these pictures for those who pay attention to detail, so watch closely…

To start things off, here are some shots from our auditions and from day 2 of production.

|

Inspired by the Cthulhu mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, The Cthulhu Chronicles has all the ambitions of a series pilot. Intended on being pitched to the Sci-Fi channel and other networks, it has been written as a stand alone narrative while simultaneously leaving all the right doors open perfect for being picked up as a TV show. Exciting!

All female roles have been cast but 8 male roles are up for grabs. Sides and character descriptions will be available at the auditions. Bring a headshot and résumé if you have them and of course, we’d be pleased to watch a prepared monologue if you have one.

Mark your Calendar: Auditions will be at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington, VT on Tuesday, October 14th from 2-6pm in the Fletcher Room. We will be shooting in November!
