Governor Jim Douglas and gubernatorial hopeful Anthony Pollina will debate each other in comedic style on Late Night with Tim Kavanagh at this Thursday evening’s taping of the show scheduled to air on October 25. The format of the debate will be comedic with a series of serious and non-serious questions for each candidate. “I really think that this is the best way to see the human side of each candidate,” said Tim Kavanagh, host and creator of Late Night Saturday. “We have come up with some really funny questions that will highlight each candidate’s unique personality.” Democratic candidate Gaye Symington was also invited, but declined the invitation. The taping begins at 7:00 pm in the Alumni Auditorium at Champlain College on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Tickets are free and available by logging on to www.latenightsaturday.com. |
Inspired by the Cthulhu mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, The Cthulhu Chronicles has all the ambitions of a series pilot. Intended on being pitched to the Sci-Fi channel and other networks, it has been written as a stand alone narrative while simultaneously leaving all the right doors open perfect for being picked up as a TV show. Exciting! All female roles have been cast but 8 male roles are up for grabs. Sides and character descriptions will be available at the auditions. Bring a headshot and résumé if you have them and of course, we’d be pleased to watch a prepared monologue if you have one. Mark your Calendar: Auditions will be at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington, VT on Tuesday, October 14th from 2-6pm in the Fletcher Room. We will be shooting in November! |

What does Champlain Motion Pictures do when it is between films and looking for a way to spend a surprisingly nice Tuesday afternoon? It plays with shopping carts, of course! Stay tuned to this season of Late Night Saturday to see what this is all about.

Been a little while since finishing production, and the post-production machine is in full swing. Editing is underway and looking very promising so far. Our biggest hurdle has been figuring out how to best obtain & configure the technology to handle the extremely high resolution video on which our film was captured. Now that we’ve mostly gotten that settled, we are off and running. A wrap party is in the works; cast & crew stay tuned for details on that. We are also beginning pre-production on our next film; no rest for the insane! |

Okay that was so fun. I was very nervous at first… Well I was nervous all day. At one point while I was on the show, I could feel my pulse in my leg. The people on the Tim Kavanagh show are amazing. It was a delight to be there. Oh! and Tim had a surprise for me. It was a big surprise and I can’t wait to see my reaction when the show airs. I felt like I won a car on the price is right. The show airs On Local Channel 3 (Vermont) 11:30 PM Saturday March 15th Cheers Jayson |
